Disabling Free Shipping for Non UK Customers

I currently have several options for shipping, 1st, 2nd, recorded and special delivery. These are all priced individually based on weight.

My free shipping is set at £30, I do not want to be able to offer this outside of the UK. I can't figure out how to stop overseas orders getting free shipping, so I have suspended all overseas transactions.

How can I do this? Basically have my 4 normal shipping options with my normal free delivery threshold and overseas charging as per normal with NO free delivery.

Then only allow that carrier to ship to the uk

Thanks, but I don't see how I can work that if we have 4 differnent carriers in the UK?

I may be a bit confused. Are you saying that you would like to offer free shipping for all four carrier options within the UK? Is there a reason that you could not just have one carrier offered as 'free shipping', and then offer any other choice?

No, not all 4, but how can I specify just 1 carrier for free shipping when I offer all 4 services?

So what you will do is have your free carrier as carrier 1:

With this simple little hack/mod you can make the free shipping only available for one defined carrier. In my example, I made it carrier #1 which is just Ground shipping on my site. All the other carriers except carrier “1” will still return a value for shipping when the order reaches the proper threshold.

And the other carriers will not offer free shipping at any point. Am I still missing the point?
