davidmaxx Posted January 25, 2011 Share Posted January 25, 2011 Hi the above enter your .com address is not accurate, as indicated in the above, http://www.yoursite.com/adminXXXXin order to access the back end the steps are easy to follow, however what is missing in the whole post for this error is the following, since the back end needs to be pointed to the admin folder i just used the sequesnce that the message gave, it changes the number each time, however if you changes the admin folder eg admin123then your access to the back office should read:http://yoursite.com/prestashop/admin123otherwise just typing in http://yoursite.com/admin123 is not pointing to anything, as your initial website will not have an actual admin123 page to go to hence why you get a 404 error.
