bykrmom
...When I try to upgrade my local version of 1.0.0.8 to 2.0 beta, following the instructions in the Wiki for updating exactly, it hangs up after step 2 (or it's going very, VERY slowly). I tried a work-around, to re-create my shop using the beta release first, and then import my database into it, to keep the store's product, customers, employees, etc. Sadly, I can't use my 1.0 database in 2.0 beta. Any alterations I've made to the site dissapear when I transfer the database, and many of the modules in 2.0 stop functioning and simply refuse to be reinstalled. Also, all the customer and employee passwords aren't right after import of the database files and I wind up locked out of my shop. Troubling, to say the least. Is this a known issue (and possibly why the release is delayed) in the beta? If not, am I doing something wrong?I really need the "wishlist" module to work, and the new stats are SUPERB! But they won't install and operate correctly in 1.0.0.8 The beta is so much more than an update to the original Presta 1.0, that I want to use it immediately, if not last week . If I can help test, etc., just yell! So far I like it, I just can't merge it into what I have now
Merchant
We used the wishlist in our 1.x shop and it is working fine
bykrmom
Did you have to do anything special to get it to interact with the shop? It seems I can't get the wishlist module to work at all, and it's bumming me out
Merchant
We just activate this module, the only thing is that all pages give the same page error in index.php but the module and the shop are working fine.
