clients that come back to buy are still marked as new?

Hi guys,

I have a strange problem.
some old clients that are comming back are marked in the order overview as NEW
others not.

I have some customers that come back and buy, they are not marked as new.
other clients that also bought and come back, are marked as new?

what could be the problem of that?

but when I click on the clients name in customers, than I can see his order history? :-)

ooh who can give me an explanation about this :-)
