Orders missing products in backoffice. No emails notifying us of new orders placed!

I need some help from some of you prestashop gurus. I have read all of the threads on here about this issue, and none of the fixes seem to help. There was some discussion of a button that was added but I don't see a link or thread to read.

Here is the issue...I have everything ready to go, but one. The orders complete properly, but it appears that the script is failing before it populates the items in the order. The order is empty, the weight shows 0.00 and if you try to cancel the order, it says no items to cancel.

I read some about changing the mailalerts.php code to rem out one section in this forum, but that didn't make any difference. I am using 1.3.2.3 and on a godaddy.com server.

Can you guys help out? I am ready to launch, but cannot until I can actually do something with the orders. I really like the idea of some of the addon modules, but they cost and this client is very budget concerned.
