Configuring the Categories

Hey,

My website is www.home.technoguru.in/shop

Now if you look at the categories .. we have made sub categories of product as well...
Now when we click on IT Products .... the page opens and shows us the sub categories... And also shows There are no Products.... whereas there are products inside sub category...

But i want a way where ... when someone clicks on an category all the products shows up including the sub category products.... and when someone click on subcategory on the category module the products of that products is only shown...

Please suggest what to do.. and how to do...

There is currently no built in way in Prestashop to do it.

You can manually assign all the products from the sub categories to the parent category as well.

Another option is to build a tool that will automatically do it, or to modify the code that gets products in a category to also look at sub-categories

Hi I am not sure what you trying to achieve from your description - but I am using sub catagories - perhaps you can tell me if what you see here is what you are looking for? this was set up using standard facilities within PS. (I am no techie)
