Downloadable product shows 0 byte after download!

I have no word of my disappointment!
I have created a website using prestashop. Everything is ready. Files are uploaded.

Finally I created a user with my email ID and tried a test download. Everything goes Okay... But when I download the file; it shows 0 byte! Strange behave! I tried with several file types like .pdf and .zip . But the results are same.

Than I test it on my localhost but it works fine.

Than I installed another prestashop on another folder for test purpose on my web server but when I download the file; it shows 0 byte!

Final Issue: It works fine on my localhost on my PC but do not work on my host server!

I can not understand why it don't work on my web server but nicely work on localhost.

I checked my "download" folder on the web server where the downloadable files has been upload
and I saw the files are uploaded correctly on the "download" folder of the prestashop directory with a long code name like the number d542gdf4582dfg65856fd558d56d585f6522c5d856. The same incident happen when I upload any downloadable file on localhost.

But when I download the file from my localhost; The file download correctly.
But when I download the file from web server; The file download with 0 byte! Strange!

I am disappointed! Please help me.

Which version of PS are you using?
Does it happen for small and large files?

Thank you for your fast reply.

My files are not more then 5MB. Because I use 7Z to zip my folder and most of my files are smaller then 2MB.

Otherwise, I provided the link (test for anyone) above is only 173KB .zip file which is containing a .pdf file into it. But if you download it you will see only an empty .zip file!

But the same file if I use on my localhost; no error happen. Everything goes right way.

I am using Prestashop-1.3.3 on Linux server. (Today I tested with Prestashop-1.3.2. But the results are same.)

Actually I tried several times on my localhost and no error I found. Then I upload it to my web server. I didn't prepare for this problem. Finally today evening I found the problem. I search internet for the solution but nothing found! I am disappointed please help me.

Are the files that are saved on the server 0 in size, or only when downloaded?

Have a look my web server screenshot of "download" folder of my PS.

On my server ( download folder of PS) the files are same size as I uploaded. If I download any file directly from my server or using any FTP; The file size become unchanged. Then if I rename the (d1d2d5dds25s2s2fd52s2sa5s To d1d2d5dds25s2s2fd52s2sa5s.pdf ) file, I can use it as original file.

But if I download(as a client download any file from my Shop) the file using PS. The files shows 0 byte.
