dan-dan
When I first installed Prestashop - with the demo electronic products in place - the drop-down categories list seemed to work fine. I changed all the images and other information etc for the online bookstore I'm creating, but somewhere along the line (I'm not sure where) the thing vanished. I've tried Googling for my answer, but I've had to luck.I've created several sub categories within 'Home', one of which being 'All Categories'. Each product has been linked to their relevant categories, and the default catergory has been set to 'All Categories'. Also, the block itself is definately set on active. It's really bugging me not knowing what's causing this problem.I'm using version 1.3.2.3. Many thanks,Dan
rudders18
HiIs the block present on your website but without any categories or is the whole block missing. If the block is there but without any categories, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the categories module from the modules tab in the BO. Also are you using teh default theme or a modified one, try reverting to the original Prestashop theme if you are using a modified one.Regards

No, the block isn't visible, not on the viewable page, nor in the source code. I actually considered uninstalling then reinstalling the module, but I was scared of breaking it as it's intergrated into other stuff. Is that definately a safe option?I am using the default theme, yes. Thanks again.

tomerg3
You can try to install / uninstall the categories module. It would be helpful to post a link to your site so we can see the problem.
