SSL on subdomain issue

Hi,

I have a shop using Prestashop 1.0 on a domain of the type http://www.myshop.com/

I have a dedicated SSL certificate which my host puts at https://secure.myshop.com/

Prestashop doesn't seem to support the SSL certificate being on a different sub domain.

There doesn't seem an easy way around this, even hacking the init.php file to change the base_dir_ssl variable falls over when trying to leave a secure page to a non secure page and the site looses its CSS files.

Is there an easy bodge, or any plans to allow more flexible SSL addresses in the next release?

This seems a fairly common issue for shared hosting that I guess the majority of people will use.

You can associete only a certificate with a domain.
