NinaCreatus
This problem was solved an hour ago - my server provider tried using SMTP parameters again and also changed the password. It all works fine now. But not with using the POP mail function.----------Hello!I've been using Prestashop now for about half a year. I love this open source e-shop and by modifying some things all has worked great until today.I noticed an hour ago that I don't receive any e-mail order confirmations, neither does one receive a customer. What is more, the contact form suddenly stopped working. When someone wants to send a message from the contact form, nothing works just this message appears: 01. an error occurred while sending message. But when I go to my BO under Preferences/E-mail and send a test e-mail, it does arrive, so I really do not understand where the problem lies.I didn't change anything, I didn't add or remove anything and now these problems, out of the blue.Is maybe anyone else having the same problems or maybe knows what to do in order to start receiving order confirmation e-mails and the e-mails from the contact form again? I tried to resolve the problem by following some instructions given here, in PSF, but no luck. I changed all possible files in the /Swift file, but still no luck.Any help is welcome.Thank you and best regards, Nina
tomerg3
Take a look at http://www.presto-changeo.com/content/9-fix-email-problemsIf that still doesn't help, you may need to use SMTP, ask your host about it.
NinaCreatus
Hi, tomerg3!Thank you for your answer and the link. I followed all these steps (even yesterday, when I red some threads), but no luck. The contact form still doesn't work and I get this message: 01. an error occurred while sending message.I tried sending a test mail and everything works fine, I did receive a test mail, but still when someone make an order, noone gets a confrimation e-mail - neither does the customer and neither do I. It is the same when someone tries to conatnc me via the contact form - no message is sent and I get that error message written above. Is there maybe any other way to resolve this problem? I don't udnerstan why did it happen so suddenly - yesterday it was still working normally, ubt then in the afternoon nothing worked right.I also tried with SMTP parameters - but when I entered the required data, I had to wait for minutes to send the test mail and nothing happend. So the conclusion is - when using a PHP mail function, the test mail is sent, but I still do not receive any order confirmation mails or mails from the contact form. NEither does the customer. When applying the changes you suggested me - it still doesn't work. When using SMTP parameters - the test mail isn't sent and I don't receive any order confiration mails or mails from the contact form. Neither does the customer.Any other suggestions maybe?Thank you and best regards,Nina

junkart
GoDaddy hosted my account and I'm using Mail PHP instead of SMTP. Did this patch:http://www.presto-changeo.com/en/content/9-fix-email-problemsIt took all fixes (including $params = "";) to get it right. Doing just the first two didn't cut it. I'm not sure if you need to do all three or just that last one.

As customers can receive message confirmation, but for administration, I can't receive any message at all. feel confused.
