presta-dyr
Sorry for the harsh title: I just try to get some attention.I manage the Danish translations. From time to time I get requests for specific versions like 1.2.1.0, 1.3.2.3 and now 1.3.3.0. Unfortunately the translations at http://www.prestashop.com/en/downloads/ have no version so I have to refer to threads where I have posted the specific translations. In my opinion the translations at http://www.prestashop.com/en/downloads/ lead to confusion because it is not obvious to what version they actually fit. People get frustrated when they download the PrestaShop software and ends up with some uncomplete translations. The success of PrestaShop depends of the fantastic software and the (right) translations./Kjeld
Dead
how can i find what's not translated in current danish translation? it says 79% - so what's left?
presta-dyr
A lot of the module texts are not translated. Mostly because many of the payment modules are not valid in Denmark. Here is an overview: /Kjeld

Dead
maybe it's better to mark non valid module as 100% translated? i'm looking for shop solution for client and he's current store is in dutch. so when i'm looking at translations and see it's not fully completed i immediately think that presta is not suitable. okay, i can post at forums and clarify, but most customers will move to another solution without doubt. but if they will see 100% instead of 79% they definitely can consider presta... presta-dyr
I have been told the PrestaShop team is aware of the problem. /Kjeld
HandCraft
So finally your translation issue gets solved or not? I have been told the PrestaShop team is aware of the problem. /Kjeld
presta-dyr
It's a bit better. Now you can find translations for specific versions. But you still get confronted with a lot of untranslated texts for irrelevant modules (i.e. not relevant in my country). /Kjeld
