Paypal 1.7.1 PS 1.3.2 Different currencies few errors need help

Recommended Posts

Hi

I'm on PS 1.3.2 and using paypal module 1.7.1. My shop default currency is INR (Indian Rupees) but for Paypal I have restricted currency to USD.

In sandbox mode, I have created a buyer & merchant/seller test accounts in India with USD as primary currency. I had to give some fake credit card number in buyer account.

Now I'm able to place an order in my shop in INR, select Paypal for payment, Shown amount in USD with Paypal, pay for it and return to the shop by clicking on the button in paypal. However, on return to shop, the order confirmation displays no information and I need to go to order history manually. As the customer I'm also receiving payment error email. Although in sandbox paypal it shows payment completed.

Now in Merchant/Shop side, paypal sandbox says payments completed. But when I receive order deatils in Prestashop it shows payment error & I get this error message:

Problem connecting to the PayPal server.No communications transport available.The PayPal transaction could not be VERIFIED.

Also in Back office I get : Warning $0.00 paid instead of $xx.00!

So basically paypal says payment completed but prestashop doesn't.

Then if I cancel a product I get this error: Fatal error (Order -> total_paid_real = -xx.xx)

Also when I see the invoice or order details the prices are in USD which is not the default currency in the shop. Is there a way for these to show the default currency INR in the invoices & history? I made the changes for the store to go back to default currency.

I've used the tips here: http://www.presto-changeo.com/content/10-fixing-paypal-problems
http://alvinjiang.blogspot.com/2010/11/prestashop-tips-how-to-fix-customer.html

Still no change. Please help.

EDIT: Also vouchers are not being reflected when redirected to Paypal. In PS they are working fine but when converted to paypal currency in paypal they don't reflect the voucher codes.
