Noodles
Hi all, I'm setting up PrestaShop for the first time and am doing some testing on a temporary server.I've added States for Australia and set it as my default country but noticed that when users go to Register it doesn't display the States for them to select from when defining their address. Is this correct behaviour or should it be showing the States as a drop down box? (as I would have assumed it would)Did I miss something? You assistance is appreciated
Noodles
Anyone? It seems the States field also doesn't show up when the user tries to edit their existing addresses in My Account, and when the user tries to save an existing address in there it then says "1. this country require a state selection" - however no States drop down is available.Looking at the source of the page, the States field is there, but it's not showing on the page. Checking the CSS the field is hidden, and I see a comment in the CSS file that the field starts hidden and is unhidden by JavaScript... however obviously for some reason this isn't happening when it should be. Unless I can resolve this problem I won't be able to use PrestaShop, as the States are important for shipping calculations - any suggestions on things to try to find what's going wrong? yoyoman
When I botched some permissions, the jquery wasn't working anymore. That affects the listing of the states dropdown menu. If your categories don't show up, that's a noticeable sign that you have jquery problems, well at least for me since I have submenus.
