Putting item off the website (Not avaliable to buy online only instore)

Hi there was wondering if someone can help me.

I was wondering if there was a way to remove a product from being bought without actually putting the item out of stock

The reason being is we have a computer shop and do repairs in the shop.

I dont really want people checking out with the repairs just want them to see the price and maybe even book an appointment through the website.

As obviously for example if people think they want somthing else it might get kinda confusing if thats not whats wrong with there computer.

I suggest you use the advertising block for advertise your repair service.
I am not sure if this is what you are looking for?

Or you will need to some code changes.
1. Set this product to "out of stock"
but you also must set this product "allow" to order even it is our of stock
2. At category and product page, try to hide the "out of stock" message if product id is the one your want to hide.
