papadi
Just to confirm something that I cannot find in the demo site. Is it possible to define tax rates per city?
shokinro
As I know, it is not able to do that. You can only enable or disable tax at state/province level and the tax rates are the same.
Mav
Unfortunately, each town in the United States has its own city tax rate. But for the sake of simplicity, small and some mid-sized businesses only apply its own city tax on its online store, just like in their real store. This is a grey area and if you're a large firm like HP, you have to setup all taxes rates on each city and charge their customers geographically accordingly in their systems. papadi
Greek islands have different tax rates from the mainland. So I guess that province level taxes will do the trick!thnx
dsmall
Hi, I am having some similar problems in EU as some countries are having reduced VAT rates on diferent products - I am in a need of one or another "matrix" clarifying which country the customer IP comes from and then selects the country and product in order to display the proper price and VAT rate - do anyone know of such solution or if it can be made?regards dave
