How to create order status a la 'Estimated arrival on....'

I have most of my products on order, the usual time for fulfilling the order is about 2 weeks. Sometimes the customers do call up and ask when their order will be shipped.

I am wondering now whether it is possible to create a dynamic order status, something like 'estimated arrival on 0000-0-00, technically is would be like 'l {'Estimated arrival on '}{$estimated_shipping}. The date must be inserted manually. It's probably not easy job to do u I am asking just in case, maybe somebody already has it. I know I can make a separate order status for each date but it will be in 3 languages and ate the end there will be hundreds of statuses like that.
