Approx how long to wait for PrestaShop 1.4 production version - Any ideas ??

It seems the amount of changes for the better, there seems a necessity to upgrade from v1.3

But is there a forecast date or month for a full production version of v1.4

No, there isn't. PrestaShop doesn't provide release dates.

I am starting on a new shop but should i wait for Prestashop 1.4 or use Prestashop 1.3.3 instead?

And how easy will it be to go from 1.3.3 to version 1.4 once its 'stable' ?

Upgrading from PrestaShop v1.3.3 to PrestaShop v1.4 will be no more difficult than upgrading to PrestaShop v1.3.3. It will just be more files to overwrite. The installer can upgrade the database from any PrestaShop version to the newest version. Of course, the older the PrestaShop version, the more opportunity there is for things to go wrong in the upgrade.

I don't think it will be very easy to upgrade from 1.3 to 1.4
Lots of factor is involve, not only database but also theme, module.
I am already facing problem 1.3 theme is not working fine with 1.4
But i love new 1.4 version.
