Items not showing in stock

I would appreciate any help I can get. When loading items on my admin when I go to my website the cart key isnt active and it says Availability: The product does not exist in this model. Please choose another.
I have active checked am I missing something? All quantities are filled in also. I hope this makes sense.
I have a manual and it has on the info page a screen shot that shows
available for purchase and show price boxes but my screen doesnt have these boxes.
I'm wondering if Im missing a setting or something some of my products work fine and some the add to cart isnt clickable.
I am new at this so could use any advise
