Problem selecting combinations

I have the following situation in presta 1.6.1.11:

A product that has a default attribute  without colors and 2 other attributes that has each 3 colors.

When im selecting one of the attributes that has colors i get the empty stock msg until i select a color. Actually it doesnt automatically select one of the color once i select an attribute that has colors.

How can i manage this?

You cannot have combos with a different attribute count, the only thing you can do it create a "No color" attribute as part of the colors, and assign it to the non colored combo
