Is there a way in the admin area to change the product.php from a list of products to like a table? Or is it a case of having to change the code?

Loop used by WordPress to display each of your posts. Basically I'm running this query in category.php, but I pagination can not get to work. I have a section of testimonials, my testimonials category.Annoyingly various sub-categories and the second question is that the thumbnail causes the post title to appear twice or more.

If you are referring to the default product listing in prestashop you have to edit product-list.tpl and it's not very difficult. If it's related to a module and you want a list on the product page (product.php) then you'll have to edit the .tpl file for that module. In both cases you can't change this from the admin panel.

If you're asking if it's possible to do something like this then yes. You will need a simple module to store your selection and in the code replace the ul li tags with an {if $switch} for ul/table and li/td, and another {if} with an iteration variable (to control how many columns there are) for the
