Step 3 Database verification

Hi
I am new to installing Prestashop. I have reached stage 3 in the installation process.
I have set up my database and and the installation program recognised it.
The test email worked and I received it
When I hit the "Next" nothing changed.

I thought it may have been my computer so after about an hour of trying get past the "Next"button I exited and tried to install from my laptop.

THis time when I click on the "Verify Now"button for Database Configeration , nothing happens.
The email send an email when I click on it and the "Next"button does nothing ad well
