Email notification does not work

Hello Folks,
I have problem with email notifications, none works. Simply said, nothing is sent out from my prestashop either to customer or me.
I know it was discused many times here, but I had not find anything that could help me. I also have tried http://www.presto-changeo.com/content/9-fix-email-problems
and all is set correctly in admin section of the shop.
Have tried different email adresses too.

Maybe this could be a problem?
my webhosting has subfolder public - this one is set to host website content
in this PUBLIC folder I have Subfolder _sub/shop
my website apears on www.domainname.com and my shop appears on shop.domainname.com
Could this be a problem??? How to solve?

Hi Guys,
I have made a step forward, but I have ended up in another dead water.....
I think that problem with my email not going out was the rules or settings of mine webhosting. It says all emails going out from the server should be in from: [email protected]
Ok, I have changed email address from hotmail at my admin section to [email protected]
Now test mail works and is sent and I believe also that other mails would be sent too if............

Now my site has problems with login and registrations.
If existing customer inputs his email and password to login, after clicked ok it returns the same screen with blank fields..... Not possible to login.
I have tried to register as a new customer with new email, but after completed registration form and confirmed it also returns to login fields and not possible to login....
I have no idea what is wrong really.... I tried again with old hotmail email, but login and registration does not work still......

Any suggestions more than welcome......!

Try adding this newadmin.php to get access to your back-end (be sure to delete after getting in): This thread. Not sure about your mail notification problem. Same problem using the Contact us form?

Thanks for reply and for the link, but I think this solves the problem if admin cannot login to back-end office and I do not have any issue with it. My problem is that customers cannot login at webshop. After email and password field is typed and you click on SIGN IN, page reloads with emty login fields. Now email works after I have used [email protected] email (that is what my host service told me).
Contact now does not work, I get:
There is 1 error : an error occurred while sending message
Test mail works ok. WHen new customer registers, he gets info by email, but cannot login...........

That code does not work for me. I am getting error 404.

I finally succeeded when i deleted my browser cookies.
