narem
I input my e-mail address in the email address field on the installation set-up page and pressed the send me a test e-mail button. The message of 'an email has been sent' appeared but actually the email has not been sent, I have not received the email. I don't know what problem it is. Someone knows it ? Sending and receiving the emails is one of the essential matters, isn't it ? However so far this prestashop software seems very nice.P.S. Additionally I have tried to manual SMTP configuration. What do I have to put the login and the password ? Do I have to put the login and the password for my account of the hosting company ? I have tried to send the email to my yahoo email account, in other words, I have tried to put my yahoo email address in the email address field. rocky
Some servers are configured in a way that prevents PrestaShop sending emails. Try following the advice here.
m4data57
I would be interested in the answer. However, I have no sub catagory under Tools that is named "Swift". Therefore the rest of the answer is useless. Are there any other ways to answer the question.

I found that It worked for my another email account, so the problem was at my yahoo email account. And probably, for the manual SMTP configuration, the login and the password should be those for the email.
