innocuous Posted November 16, 2010 Share Posted November 16, 2010 Hi,I know that vouchers/discounts can easily be used in PS.BUT incase I need a single use voucher that expires as soon as the FIRST USER to redeem it (after successful payment obviously).What I want to do is....on special occasions, I take out ONE VOUCHER for xx amount, which is available for all users but the condition is that only the first person to finish a payment transaction will actually get credit for that voucher. As soon as the first user payment goes through, no other user can use that voucher code.Can this be done in PS? I know that there will be issues like two users simultaneously entering the voucher and both transactions being processed by payment gateways. The first payment to go through will get the credit, but what will happen to the second payment? I guess either its rejected or the full value is charged?Anyways, can Prestashop implement ONE USE only vouchers? tomerg3 Posted November 16, 2010 Share Posted November 16, 2010 PS has the ability to choose how many people will be able to use a voucher, and how many times each person could use it.If you set both to 1, then only 1 person will be able to use them.A voucher is considered "used" only after a successful checkout is made. Posted April 12, 2011 Share Posted April 12, 2011 and how to if i want a discount of 100% on only 1 quantity of a product?? eheheh that's a problem of prestashop..i created an hided category and added 1 product, so customers that buy the product inside that category with a voucher they can obtain 100% of discount on the price, but i want limit it to 1 quantity! because from cart they can add quantity and obtain 100% of discount on all.... ehehhee Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
