Hi guys,

Im new to the shop and currently designing a new theme, could one tell me where/which file I can find the HOOK_TOP HTML?

It's in header.php and header.tpl (in your theme's directory).

It's created using modules. For example, modules/blockuserinfo/blockuserinfo.tpl.

I see that the hook top i.e search, currency change, userinfo is built up of seperate modules. The file I need is where they are all included as I want to keep the user info login etc but I want to lose the search and bookmark, sitemap links etc.

Hope you understand what im trying to describe, Its a hard one.

Just go to the Modules tab in the Back Office and uninstall the modules you don't want. Uninstall the "Permanant links" and "Search block" modules in the "Blocks" section.

Ahh i see, so your storing the layout of the hooks within the db.
