Kira27
I'm pulling in 35 orders or so from oscommerce. Yes, I know there are several modules, but I already have everything else in (10 products, 35 customers and now I need the 38 orders). If I can create them myself that would be great, but I'm thinking of just plugging stuff into the database. My main question is what tables would I edit (I can see the obvious I think) and what is the long "secure key" that I see in the test order for John Doe? Can I duplicate this or does it make it on its own? Also, I deleted all customers when I imported my csv of customers in admin, but now there is an order with no name and probably an address or something as well. It deleted the actual customer but not all of his info. Where can I check to make sure he's out of the system? What do most people do, just leave John Doe and his fake order there?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kira27
Sorry about the all caps in title. I guess I read the rules a little bit too fast.ok now---I have gotten the orders to show up under each customer, but the orders do NOT show up under the Orders tab. Only the fake order from John Doe (who has actually been deleted) shows up. Any ideas what I'm missing? I need a list of orders to show in the Orders tab. Thank you!! Kira27
I have gotten all the orders to show up in the orders area and the customers themselves, yet when you click to view the order, although it shows up it also says Account registered: 2010-04-27 10:47:36Valid orders placed: 0Total paid since registration: $0.00Even though the order is showing. I'm not sure how important this is but would like it to work correctly. Is there a way to make it show the right info?
Kira27
Well I now see what the problem is. I don't know why this would happen. Why can't an order just be an order!??? Well, I've found out the solution. I have to select Preparation in progress and the Valid orders appears. I suppose I can mark this as solved. Kira27
ok this is not quite solved yet.I realize that if the order status is Preparation in Progress, then it validates the order, but where in the database does it do that?I can't just change the statuses in the database and have the valid order appear. I have to manually go in to EACH order in admin and change the status, which shows as of today, not as of the day the order was originally made. This is frustrating. I can then go back and put the original dates in but this is wasting a ton of my time. What changes in the database when I manually set it to Preparation in Progress? Doesn't one person actually know?
Zenith
The order_history table holds all the order status updates, these include times when changed.
