ARhifi.dk
It may be a stupid question, but how do I specify the sequence, the placement, and if the block/module should be positioned in the left or the right column? I have only used PrestaShop in approx. 75 hours, and so far it is the best e-commerce software I have ever seen.Is there a config file or a php file, that I can modify?Position/Placement configuration doesn't seem to work from the backend, and it may be because I am using another theme than the standard. All the best,PeterARhifi.dk

ARhifi.dk
Thank you, it works to move the modules up and down, but in case I would like to move a block from left to right?Just that I have to be a little bit more precise with my cursor-mouse. jhnstcks
You need to use the transplant tool on the module>positions page

nicksey
I am having a problem transplanting modules.I have a link block in the Left Column Blocks, I want to transplant it to the Right Column Blocks. On a different Prestashop site I was able to do this using the 'Transplant a Module' option and then just choose from the drop down options and it moved to the right. On the site I am working on now. I can see the links block on the left of my website. I go to transplant and select the Right Column Blocks. I get an error as follows1 error this module is already transplanted to this hookBut it is not it is still on the left. I get the same error message whether I try to move the links block to the left or the right. It cannot be in both hooks, can it? It only shows on the left side of my website.Anybody got any ideas, thanks
jhnstcks
Modules can be hooked into any hook or every hook.Have you tried uninstalling the module and reinstalling it
nicksey
Hi JohnThanks for that, I uninstalled it , then re installed it, then repositioned it, then rebuilt the links themselves. All working OK now.Nick
