noesac
I've made so many customisations to my site that I don't have the 2 weeks or so that I would need to set aside to make the upgrade. So I will probably wait 6 months and just upgrade straight to v1.4, or maybe even 1.4.1. In the meantime, are there suggestions on the "top 3" must have fixes that I could make manually to my site? I'm just worried there's something critical that might slip through the cracks (e.g important security flaws, SEO etc). Thanks

rv01
I fully agree with you and will wait also for 1.4 (coming from 1.3).This upgrade procedure is simply a mess, you destroy your modifications.WHY ON EARTH don't they (Prestashop) keep all customizations apart???I saw this on the web:In the prestashop the upgrade strategy is not clearly defined. The upgrade impact on existing customizations is unsure in prestashop. On the other hand Magento’s customization scheme depends on the excellent OOP concept of subclasses and method. And this is extensively useful in keeping the customizations apart from Magento’s main releases.Read more: http://www.articlesbase.com/web-design-articles/magento-vs-prestashop-1591365.html#ixzz15B5gmQttUnder Creative Commons License: Attribution

noesac
Hi guys, i just released a module that can really help you.SHOW ME THE DIFFERENCES Would you be able to post a demo with this installed? I am really interested in buying this but I'm just a little worried because I've been burned on some unreliable modules in the past. Thanks! Yann - Prestaplugins
Yes, you test it here : SHOW ME THE DIFFERENCEemail : [email protected]pass : testtestYou can then compare folders "Theme" and "Theme2" for example, which are almost the same but with a few differences, or try between 2 others folders very different.
