Footer Disappeared while modifiying Footer.TPL Prestahop 1.7 [SOLVED}

Hello Community

I was hoping to delete the copyright in the footer.

 

 2018 - Ecommerce software by Prestashop^TM

 

So i modified some line of code in my theme´s footer.tpl. as it was shown on another thread. I Deleted this part in the file

<div class="text-xs-center">
  <i class="material-icons">&#xE90C;</i> 2018 - <strong>Pool</strong> - {l s='Ecommerce software by' d='Shop.Theme'}
  <strong>BC Partes^TM</strong>
</div>

 

After uploading it i noticed the whole footer disappeared!. I thought i might have deleted more that i should so i uploaded again the original file, but footer still gone.

 

What could have gone wrong? how could i recover my footer?

EDIT:

 

Solved by installing a new store and using the original footer.tpl file.
