FSfashion
6. While you have your FTP connected to your Web hosting server, make sure the following PrestaShop folders have ‘write’ permissions (also known as “CHMOD 777” – explanation of file permissions here) but do not apply these permissions recursively (to their subfolders): /config, /upload, /download, /tools/smarty/compile. Then make sure the following folders have ‘write’ permissions and apply these permissions recursively (to their subfolders): /img, /mails, /modules, /themes/prestashop/lang, /translations I'm using FileZilla. While I do file premissions, it already has owner: "read", "write", "execute" checked off.group and public has "read" and "execute" checked off.So for the /config, /upload, /download, /tools/smarty/compile. do I leave everything as is? not uncheck for group and public? if I go into these' subfolders, they have the same things checked so should I uncheck those? Also for ones there I apply permissions recursively to their subfolders, do I just check both for directories and files or just one and which one?I've attached screencaps. Please help!also, I should upload the prestashop folder in public_html folder or just in folder by itself?lang.bmp conf.bmp
