possible to link to a page and set currency simultaneously?

I've set up different websites (aimed at different countries) linking to the main store.

It's easy to come into the store with a specific language, but is there some (quite easy) way to link to the home page (or any other page) and set the currency simultaneously?

I guess this needs some way to open the page and immediately after set the javascript...

I'm still using v1, btw.
