cbjarnson
I may be completely missing this. I have paypal up and running on my site but I want a button that they can press at anytime and it will take them to paypal where they can checkout. I want them to be able to do this without signing up for an account on my site. How do I do this? Completely Lost. http://mmcollectorscorner.com/
rocky
That's not now the PayPal module works. PrestaShop can't create an order without also having a customer account to link it to.
cbjarnson
I have seen this with other sites that allow you to check out with one click through paypal without creating an account. So you are saying this is not possible?
rocky
Were those PrestaShop websites? PrestaShop doesn't support guest checkout. There are third-party modifications that can add this feature, but they just create customer accounts in the background without letting the customer know. shokinro
Hi cbjarnsonI think my module (Agile Paypal Express Checkout) is exactly the one you are looking for.Customer only has to select country that his/her Paypal account registered to. Only 3 clicks will redirect to Paypal payment page. (1. Select country 2. Agree to "Terms" 3. Click "Continue" )For more detail, you can check this threadYou can also take a look at my live demohttp://addons-modules.com/ (public live)http://expresscheckout.dyndns.org:8080/shop1323/ (sandbox testing)
gsnetuk
Hi! Sorry to hijack this post, however I am having a very frustrating error with any paypal module I use. I am currently using module 1.6, however have tried 2.0 and get the same result. The problem is that when customers are redirected to the paypal site it comes up with an error message from paypal saying that an 'error occurred after clicking the last link'. It really does seeom to be hit and miss - some transactions go through without error whislt others hit this wall. If there is anything anyone can suggest to help it would be really appreciated. The website I am working on is http://www.dorsethomebrew.co.ukThank you! :-(
shokinro
I am not quite sure what exactly problems you are facing. There are some issues if you are using multiple currencies. You can have more information hereAs I mentioned in my previous post, my Express Checkout module does not ask customer any information except selecting country. (You can take a demo at site listed in my previous post) Customer is redirected to Paypal site directly. Customer information is collected from Paypal after payment, so some kind of errors are avoided.I also checked your website, it seems that you are using Fast Check module, but customer still have to input a lot of information before going to Paypal. If the store does not configure correctly, some errors may occurs, one of this errors is related to "State" setting. If the country contains "state" or province, but your store is not configured correctly, then the error will occur, and customer will be bounced back to your store from Paypal. You can have some more information here.
elegance
Shokinro,A few questions before I buy. I was only planning to use paypal - but does it still allow you to ask for a shipping address? I vaguely remember that they require you to ship to a confirmed address - or is this determined by the seller? I want to be able to offer different ship to address. Also, I will be a US shop only. Can it be set to US so it doesn't need to ask what country? Thanks in advance.Christine
shokinro
Hi ChristineThanks for your interest in my module A few questions before I buy. I was only planning to use paypal – but does it still allow you to ask for a shipping address? Yes, if customer is already signed up and logged in at your store, he/she will be able choose different address for Invoice and Delivery from the address registered at your store. If customer choose Express Checkout (without registration/log in), then customer is able to choose from any address that registered at his/her Paypal account. See attached screen Also, I will be a US shop only. Can it be set to US so it doesn’t need to ask what country? You can just set US as default, so that customer dose not need to choose country. If you have further questions, could you please kindly post to following thread?http://www.prestashop.com/forums/viewthread/77195/
