How do I change the HTML code in prestashop?

Hi,

If I need to change the HTML code in prestashop, how do I do that?
I want to add a facebook like button to my prestashop website and need to add HTML code but I do not know how to do it and therefore need advise. By the way, I am using a filezilla FTP. Hope someone can help, thanks

I think it will be easier for you to just install a module instead of mess around with the TPL files in your theme. If you want a single Facebook like button on your site, try this module or this module or this module. If you want a Facebook like button on each of your products, try this module.

I will like to learn how to write the HTML code in my website. I remember you have always give me advise and few trip before and some of them need to include the code. But I do not know how to do it.

You will need to edit the TPL file in your theme's directory that matches the page you want to edit. It uses HTML and Smarty. You can read more about Smarty here.
