ShaunD
Hi,Can anybody advise if the below can be done and any pointers on how to.I have a product which can be purchased in three weights. 2Kg, 7.5Kg and 10kg. Each one having its own price, discounts, promotions etc.I would like the customer to be able to select the product, select the weight required and checkout. Not have three different products listed.Prestashop would need to reduce the stock of the relevant selected weight. An example is dog food which can be purchased in the above weights, the product is the same just different sizes available I cannot see how to do it in Prestashop using the features tab.If it is not available is there a module which can be purchased. rocky
You can do that using attributes. Go to Catalog > Attributes and groups, create a "Weight" group with attributes "2kg", "7.5kg" and "10kg", then edit the product, go to the "3. Combinations" tab, click the "Product combinations generator" link, then select the three weights in the list box, click Add, enter the price and weight differences for each weight, then click "Generate", then "Back to product". ShaunD
Thanks Rocky.I have managed to implement your solution, the only remaining question is it is possible to add a discount to only one of the weights or would I need to add an alternative product if to do this? rocky
You can't provide discounts on a per-attribute basis. You could simply reduce the cost of that attribute, but it won't be marked as on special. You can only mark a whole product as "On sale".

marijonas81
It's useful for me too.But how to make that combobox appear in the product list ? Because now when a client browses the products list (not the products page) he can see only the default atribute price and he doesn't even know about available weight options unles I put them in the name or short description fields. Is there such a possibility?
