Can I change my php install and not hurt my store?

Hi,

I currently have php version 5.2.14 installed and prestashop 1.3.2.3. I'm thinking that this php version is causing problems with validating my authorize.net module payments. Can I change the php install and not mess up anything with my current store? I'd be grateful for any advice.

I doubt the order validation problem is caused by the PHP version.

Which module are you using?

I'm using the authorize.net module. I'm getting a ton of errors with it. Sometimes is says "error - no iso code for email", and other times it just says "payment error." Have any ideas?

I believe it's the one developed by the prestashop community. (Also, it's the server integration method). I recently purchased it.

I'm not getting any responses from their team. Would you, by chance, be interested in troubleshooting this install? If so, what would you charge for something like this?

They should offer some support for it (I think), I am not familiar with the SIM method, I have a module which uses their AIM method and works just fine.

I am pretty sure that nothing with the SIM should be related to the php version you have.
