Fake customer accounts

Hello everyone, I upgraded from 1.6 to 1.7 with 1-click module. From this time some robot started to create fake customers accounts. It is about 5 to 10 account a day with fake email and name. No address or order is created. I am getting tons of “not delivery” emails. 

Someone told me to buy captcha module, but I do not want bother real customers with captcha when they want to make an order.

Is there any solution how to protect the “customer-creating” page?

this problem we all have. and wish prestashop team do something like. register activation !  this way any customer signup need replay to confirmation in email or never have account created.

I get this now for a day or 3. Every hour a new registration with "X and X are waiting for you" and a URL etc.

Very sad that someone who has skills for programming uses this to annoy people who earn a little with a webshop.

I searched for Captcha on registration, but it is all payed. If it so normal to have this, then there is al very useful task for Prestashop to stop this as a standard.

I have the exact same problem here despite using a captcha.

For information I use eicaptcha. However spammers seems to be able to go over it in account creation.

Anyone has been able to solve this?

Edit: seems that eicaptcha devs are working on it. Hopefully will get a patch for this soon.

Waiting for the patch, but it is a great start! 

I installed it succesfully, and tested it. I will donate to the programmer.

I suggest the recapctha v3 artificial intelligence module. This is the latest version of Google's recaptcha.

After you apply all your security measures to protect the shop from bots, you can use the Tidy module to delete those customer accounts. I just added an option there to delete all customers all guests without addresses (so only accounts never used for any order)

I tryed to download this zip and install it but I could not do it.
