Payment module(s) for united kingdom, ireland and the middle east region?

Hi all!

Not sure this is the right forum, but here goes:

I currently have a danish shop, with a danish payment gateway, but we are expanding to above countries/regions with copies of the shop, and I was hoping to get some advice/direction to payment gateways.

In Denmark, PBS (or Nets, as they're called now) have monopoly on the e-commerce payments. So all online payments go through PBS via. a payment provider of one's choice. (QuickPay.dk for instance)

Does anyone know how it works in England, Ireland and United Arab Emirates? And is there one or several payment modules I have to use per shop?


I should say that we're going to duplicate our current shop, so each shop will be it's own independent PS platform.
