msk69
On step 2 of the RC1 installation i get stuck at step 2.It keeps telling me that the permisions are not right.# Write permissions on folders and subfolders/recursively:# /img# /mails# /modules# /themes/prestashop/lang# /translations# /uploadI am 100% sure that the permisions are right, as i looked at it for each dir, and used several ftp programms, also tried other variations. If i change as a test the configure dir in another permisions "number" it directly states the change.I do this on a live server, localhost goes alright with xampp.V1.0 walks thrue it without a hassle.. without changing permissions.Anyone got a clue?Or how to undo the check over those dirs? Thanks,Marco(PrestaShop Team, i'd be more then happy to send FTP & server details over PM. I can even make an account for testing purposes for long term.)

ruilong
How did you reset it? I have the same problem with RC3..
msk69
It's in my controlpanel, which is not common and written by the hosting company. Before i did the reset i checked every permission, and after the reset again, All permissions where the same, as before, but still i managed the second time to go thrue the installation.if you have a reseller package you may delete the domain package and make a new one for it again, if nothing important is runnning on the domain!! Merchant
Strange, we encounterd the same problem using IE7, till we removed the history ande made a refresh.
msk69
I had a go with IE7, Firefox, Opera and Flock. the funny thing was that first two would react on changing permissions(green or red buttons during install), but the last row kept staying on red. though trying setting permissions with several ftp clients. non of it helped, till the reset. While on an old reseller account it went thrue without any problem.
ruilong
Yes, I also used IE7 and after about 3 hours it worked all of a sudden when doing a refresh, so there seems to be some caching problem..
