csv and catergories.

Hi all again, Ive almost mastered this csv malarky but one thing that bugs me is this and i hope some one can help me please.

i want my items by catergory, i have attached a small selection on a csv file (its a adult toy site so please no smarky replies lol)



Thing is when i upload this to my site and choose all the headings in the import section, when it apears on the front end. Instead of all differnt toys coming under just main catergory sextoys, sub catergory Sex Toys For Ladies, subcatergory vibrators.
They all apear as individual ones on the main page.

I'm certainly no expert, but in my own file I had a heading "Categories" which listed the appropriate category number for the product.
Then my file headings are totally different to yours.

Thanks chrissie your a star, now just got to work out why yours is in numbers and mine is not. Did you have to put all the catergories in first then export your csv, or did you just get it like that lol.

you could do the same thing for your categories as for your products, but I added my categories first. Then make sure the number of your categories corresponds to what you add to the products csv file.
