[Solved] Why Every Time I Edit A Carrier The ID Always Increased 1 Number?

Why every time I edit or update a carrier the ID always increased 1 number? And the worse thing is the original ID and all the data in it will remain on the database. I think this is inefficient because it makes the database getting and getting bigger each time we edit the carrier. Is there any solution to this?

Before you modify this carrier, it may have been used/referenced in one or several orders...
You have several order that have been placed, referrencying this carrier.

If the carrier of theses orders were modified, the orders will become inconsistent.

That's why Prestashop duplicates the carrier.
The old ID is still in database, used by 'old' orders already referrencying it
New ID will be used by new orders
