jhnstcks
You could ftp to modules/editorial/ folder and replace the homepage_logo.jpg manually. If you want to use a different image type or file name you will need to edit editorial.tpl and change the code near the top that refers to homepage_logo.jpg
davisbalodis
we are using prestabox.com...how is with that? rocky
In that case, you don't have access to the files. You will have to contact PrestaBox support to help you. Let them know the error message that you are getting when you try to upload an image.
bb42
You could ftp to modules/editorial/ folder and replace the homepage_logo.jpg manually. If you want to use a different image type or file name you will need to edit editorial.tpl and change the code near the top that refers to homepage_logo.jpg Wow, picture on the shop home page can only be changed by either digging deep into modules folder or changing the code. Not a very clever construction ...How about a central store for pictures and placeholders in the modules - similar to translation?
rocky
PrestaShop v1.4 does have a central place for all images added to CMS pages. It is in the img/cms directory. The editorial module is different though. In PrestaShop v1.4, the editorial module image can be changed and deleted. In PrestaShop v1.3, it can only be changed. bb42
There is an upload form field for the image in the editorial module settings - but it doesn't work, see above.
rocky
It works fine for me. If it isn't working for you, there must be some server issue with uploading files or a permissions issue on the modules or modules/editorial directory. The directories should be chmod 755 and files chmod 644.
bb42
So all the modules directory should always be writeable by the web process? Not a very safe solution. There should be a central place to store all resources, then noboby needs to write in directories with code.
