Can someone tell me , or help me, for make some core modification?

I need to redirect 404 page to search result, where search query is the words from old url

Ex: 404 page: /old-category/old-product.htm or /old-product.html redirect to 

index.php?controller=search&search_query=old+category+old+product&submit_search= or index.php?controller=search&search_query=old+product&submit_search=
