Subcategory images - How to change the "No image available".

Hi people out there,

how can i change the subcategory image "NO IMAGE AVAIBLE"?

I have searched in all files and replaces some of them but nothing happens, have clear my cookies and tried from another computer and still the same result. I guess im changing the wrong image?

I want to change the image to shows up if u dont have any image on the subcategories, how can i do this?

Hi John and thanks for your time. No, i dont want to remove the sub-category image, I want to change the "no image file" for the sub-category, but cant find where it is stored.

Ah the files are located in folder /img/c and are called en-default-category.jpg, en-default-large.jpg, en-default-small.jpg and en-default-medium.jpg. Those are the english versions there are others for other lanuages.

There are also "No-Image" files located within /img/m folder of the prestashop package you downloaded.

All the "No-Image" files are located within /img/m folder of the prestashop package you downloaded ( NOT in the theme folder).

No there not, img/m/ is where the manufacturer images are stored.

img/c/ = category images
img/p/ = product images
img/m/ = manufacturer images
img/l/ = language flags
img/s/ = supplier images
img/t/ = admin tab images

sorry, my misstake! your right it ws in /img/c i ws just lookin up for the no image files to be replaced and that it was not for SK01 purpose i.e the sub category. Thanks jhnstcks!

I have the same problem. However, I would like to out a picture there and when click on the insert picture in the editor, it asks me a web address where the image is. I am very new but i thought it would direct me to a default image folder which i am supposed to add my products pics in. It seems to me that it is asking an external link.

How do I put a link there? I tried to make a folder in my home directory and put the link as it appears on filezilla but it doesn't accept it. Am I supposed to upload an external link. I hope not.

Can anyone help?
