jhnstcks
-Download the files using an ftp client (filezilla, coreftop etc) to your pc and open them using notepad or a similar document handler (not wordpad). I use notepad2 as it shows css and html syntax highlighted.--You shouldnt need to edit any of the .php files only the tpl files.--When you have finished editting them just upload them to the same location and overwrite the old version.--WARNING: If your unsure what you are doing always backup your files before editting them.-

jhnstcks
Hi MatthieuThe CMS tool is not available in version 1.0 only in the beta version, which as you know is still in testing and shouldnt be used on a live shop, therefore my post should still stand, till the new version of prestashop is realsed as final
mysterion
I agree with jhnstcks on this. I really miss the CMS from 1.0 and have to work around it until 1.1 is stable which could be a while yet.
goldleviathan
How can you work around the CMS module in beta 3? It will not store images and it has a limit to the amount of characters you can input. Where are these files stored so that I can change them the old way? artjunky
The pages are stored in the database in 1.1. In the cms_lang table. If for some reason the text field is not large enough you can go into your database and change the 'content' field from TEXT to either MEDIUMTEXT or LONGTEXT.
