Kelvin Ong
Hi,I've tried to make a back up of the database before upgrading to newer version. I've followed the instruction showed in http://www.prestashop.com/wiki/back_up_your_database/I've done step number 8. In the PrestaShop Back Office > Tools > Database Configuration, change the database name to the new one. After that I've received the error message Link to database cannot be established, and now I'm unable to access back office.Your solution for this problem will be highly appreciated. Thanks & regards,Kelvin Ong
sebastiann
You can check in the root/config/settings.inc.php if the settings are correct.
Kelvin Ong
Hi,I've just done it. Everything is back to normal now, except the UID/GID. Earlier the UID/GID showed apache and now was different after I clicked "reset owner".It doesn't allow me to edit the setting before I click "reset owner". Can someone please tell me how important it is to keep "apache" under UIG/GID and how to do it.Thanks & regards,Kelvin Ong
