spaceman
Can anybody tell me if there's a way to alter the ID # of a category in my Prestashop catalogue? The reason I ask is because I have an image on my home page which currently links to an incorrect category of my shop. If you have a look at www.cozibag.co.uk, about halfway down the page you'll see an image supposedly linking to a category called Lounge Furniture - only it doesn't actually link to that category.I know this is a really basic question and I'm making myself look a complete novice here, but if there's no way of changing the category ID, can someone possibly suggest where in my ftp files I might find the file that allows me to change the "mid3" anchor in the html code?I've been trawling through my files opening every 'index' page I can find (using Aptana Studio), but none of them seem to contain the code that actually produces the content for home page. I'm obviously not a developer and don't really understand how file structures work, so I wondered if anyone can tell by looking at the source code??Any advice greatly appreciated.ThanksScott
razaro
I am not sure is that some module or part of just hard coded.Check header.tpl in your theme folder maybe code is there. Also go to Back Office >> Modules >> Positions and see under Homepage content what modules are "hooked" there. tomerg3
Most likely that code was added to the homefeatured module, or the editorial module.Look at their .tpl file and look for those links.
spaceman
Thanks for your helps, folks, I managed to find it; it was, as suggested, in the homefeatured.tpl.I've now changed it and it's working properly, so I'm really pleased!Scott
