1.7.3 unusable back-office (duplicating text blocks)

After updating prestashop to 1.7.3 using the 1-Click Upgrade Module, the back-office has become partly unusable:

• It's impossible to save new products (after pressing save, a message saying "Unable to update settings." appears;
• The GUI is all messed-up (see screenshot);
• The create new product button is unusable (it opens the dashboard);
• Many more problems to be found

I really need some help as I am unable to do any progress on my work right now.

Which php-version are you using ? I performed the same problem and made an roll-back. On my case this PS 1.7. version was running under php 5.6.30. I was waiting for some notifications of other users, before I add the problem to the debugtracker.

I have the same problem with 1.7.3, with apache, PHP: 7.0.29
The language fields are all duplicated in the back office.
