Shipping question

I have shipping set at 0 as its free is there a way i can disable shipping or is this the only option?? also do i need to set up all the countries even with shipping set at free??

I also have a shipping question so I'm using your subject nerdygurl... but have no answer for your question.
I need to set up shipping costs based on TOTAL WEIGHT for ALL countries except France : OK I did it.
But I need costs to be based on TOTAL PRICE for France shipping, ie Free over 135€. But I'm not sure It's possible to cumulate costs based on weight for some countries and based on total price.

Any idea to do it please ?

I guess you could set up a Zone that is "everywhere" i.e. containing all countries, and then a single carrier - your "free" one will handle them all. I think the only way to exclude shipping altogether is for virtual products, although I'm not sure what would happen if your marked your "real" products as "virtual". It may be that you can force it to make sense by changing the text in the translations section ?

@daymo it looks like you have to choose either weight or price as the basis for the calculations for ALL carriers. I think maybe this should be set per carrier though, as that would be MUCH more flexible. Maybe you should submit a feature request?

When you put a product, there choose the option, VIRTUAL PRODUCT. Does that help in excluding shipment?
