BREZ
Hi all,After using oscommerce for years i stumbled across Prestashop.Congrats fellas, it (V1008) looks a wonderful script and sure to reach the highest stakes.I was able to configure the setup with no problems at all and it looks great.However....When i make a purchase, item loads to cart, if i click either "Cart" or "Checkout" SECURE CONNECTION FAILEDAn error occurred during a connection to me.com.SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length.(Error code: ssl_error_rx_record_too_long) Am i missing something here?Socket 80 checked and open.Paypal page blank as expected.BREZ
Paul C
SSL runs on port 443 by default IIRC Have you triedrunning the store with SSL turned off? I would check that everything is ok with that first - if you haven't done so already!Next question; what is the SSL url you're using? Is it the same domain as your standard http pages, or are you using a shared SSL scheme?Paul
BREZ
This may take some time as i can not find which file contains the SSL setting. It is a server shared ssl scheme.
BREZ
Ok i fail to find exactly where i disable the SSL as a search on this forum informs me that a shared SSL does not function properly with Prestashop. So can anyone tell me where to disable SSL? BREZ
Hi crisb,I had marked this thread "solved" because the problem was not in the back office section, it was a problem with my shared SSL.Thanks anyway.BREZ
