(Resolved) Moving Modules around (ie RSS feed

HI all

I am wanting to move the RSS feed from the left and put it under featured products. (not the product rss feed)

Is there any way to do this?

I Have been going round in circles for 3 days nows and nearly had it it right but the footer went left and background image went to the right and very small.

Please help my head is spinning.

Thanks all who have helped me to get this module right where i want it and it works with my template as well as the standard temple.

Go into the back office and under the modules tab click positions.

delete it from left column and new transplant the RSS feed into homepage content

and move it under the homefeatured products.

HI Thanks for the assistance.

I have removed the module from left column and transplated to home page content, No joy. So i tranplanted to footer No Joy.

I also tried removing the rss feed and starting all over again with the instructions you gave me.

Then I thought maybee it,s the template so I changed back to presta shop default and tried again still no joy.
any more ideas please.

It's because the RSS feed module was only designed to be placed in the left or right column. To add it to the homepage, you will need to add this code to modules/blockrss/blockrss.php.

does that include rss feed for news or just applicable for product RSS

I mean the RSS feed for news, not the product RSS feed.

OK thanks Rocky I will give this a go and see how I get on. I think I will leave default template enabled untill I work this out.
I will let you know if this can be closed and resolved later today. Thanks to all for their help!!!
